When we first started to look for a way to refinance our mortgage, I
came across e-mortgages in a review of rates by the local paper, the
Santa Rosa Press Democrat. I was a little leery of this new method but
the rates seemed lower than any of the others and I put in a phone call.
I spoke to Jehoshua and then to Kelly, both of whom struck me as being
straightforward and knowledgeable. We went ahead with the application
and all was going well except that, because we were away from home and
because of the intense demand caused by a sharp decline in rates, we
were unable to sign the application form until a few days before the
locked-in rate was due to expire. At that point mortgage rates suddenly
jumped by a half-percentage point and I became concerned that the deal
might not go through in time, either because everyone was under pressure
or because, by moving slowly, the loan might not be approved in time,
leaving the lender free to get a higher rate of interest.
Everything was done efficiently and with integrity, by e-mortgages and
the title company and the loan was made at the low rate agreed. I am
writing to express my appreciation and to let you know that I would have
no hesitation in recommending this service to others.
